A friend of mine recently went back at midlife and took classes with her husband at Alvin Ailey in New York and I'm so inspired by her, I'm going to do the same. https://ailey.org/classes?gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQiAuou6BhDhARIsAIfgrn7YoW1w-fE2p_GYUY4314mmfAadLp1IWB5aLFJot0RmEJNm7TH1tGkaApNZEALw_wcB

I am inspired by your pursuit of ballet. I am 64 and returning to ballet classes after 25 or so years. I’ve only ever been an adult learner. What advice/encouragement can you give us older ladies who want to dance like you do?

Hello Maureen! I'm so glad it resonated. I get this question a lot, so I've recorded a few resources. Here's a video on starting ballet as an adult: https://youtu.be/mq7gIfF3ADo?si=AGje_68nbed_qgcR, an another on the tools needed: https://youtu.be/tY4bVNleGHM?si=w6rP0IXaoCBwAF1i, and a podcast interview I just did that shares more on choosing a teacher and dancing in midlife: https://youtu.be/G_HEEk_zMOo?si=L6RlGegIJhChyEsK. Hope these help and happy dancing! xx
