Hello, earth mother goddess. She sometimes comes to me when I meditate.

There was a snow storm in Boston yesterday. My daughter sent me a picture. I was pining for the snow. Short day. Long day. Any winter day. I wish the pouring rain here would turn white. 😊🙏

Haha! We're so lucky to have Sadie here invoking the OG earth mother today... The snowstorm yesterday was gorgeous! I filmed it, but my proper coat only arrived tonight--so now I can really venture out. The old SF light wool was NOT cutting it. I wish for some quiet glistening flakes for you too.🙏 😊

Beautiful Alisa. Your words took me right into the lap of OG Earth Mother Goddess and now I think it’s time for a lovely solstice nap.

Oh, they were mostly Sadie's words! She's our archetype guide for the day :) but yes... a nap is most welcome!

Love the Empress! I work with her often. Winter Solstice is my favorite high holy day. It’s a whole weekend of ritual, reflection, altar and art making and doing a reading.

I'm the first person to gripe about winter cold/darkness, but I always forget that there is a kind of solace to be found today, the shortest day of the year, when everything is frosty and still. I try to be grateful that Nature is now bringing light back to us, even though it'll take awhile. Also, this is the time when I get hella serous about making stews, which are the best food ever once the temp drops. A huge bowl of chicken stew and an Ab-Fab rewatch are how I get through the winter months.

Sounds like a good holiday self-care plan to me
