It IS a great word... I love that it became a word during one of the darkest moments of history (the plague!) Just some folklore. I also love anything without scent that makes me feel dewy again--so rare! Susan's going to be giving away samples at her zoom talk coming up on the last Monday in Oct! Stay tuned for more info on that soon! xo
I love the word luminous and it such a good one for aging! Like a stone polished by the unrelenting passage of time, women glow all the more brightly because of our years.
Indeed, the shine from all that WEATHERING! And lordt, if I am not greeting you from THAT TONIGHT! It took five tries and four of us puzzling over the silly generator, pressing buttons and jiggling it, in a crazy-ass wind just to get enough power to for me write you this message right now. But HUZZAH to glowing all the more brightly because of our years!
Seriously? I had no idea SF was experiencing power outages! Hopefully they’ve calmed down by now, and if not, you’re enjoying some good blanket time. No power outage can stop you from shining Alisa. :)
The whole essay lights me up with the truth about getting older--and shining--despite the ever so-prevalent "ageism" (is that really a word? and if it is, I hate that word!) but I adore Alisa and Susan and this collaboration!
Luminous is one of my favorite words! I may try this product. My skin has been feeling like parchment paper since I've been an adolescent frankly lol.

I must read about that!!! Me too. Fragrance is sometimes so nauseating plus toxic. So exciting! Thank you for keeping us posted.
