I know we're all so busy... It's free right now on Audible, but for me, it's one of those books I want to have on the shelf to return to yearly b/c I think as a midlife woman you repeatedly have to build your confidence back up and revise your story in small ways? Or at least it's working out that way :)
Well thankfully you are all finally admiting to being peri or menopausal . My mother went through it in one afternoon and that is all she told me. I wrote a funny book on the subject and because my demographic gal pals were ashamed of talking about it and pretended they were through this life phase they pity bought it on Amazon (Gonepausel). Glad you are all just WAKING UP. Menopause never ends so get used to the dry skin, inner tube around your stomach, sandpaper sex and thinning hair on your head but the new hair on your chin. Have a designated tweezer when you can't see to get rid of those nasty little hairs as Rip Van Winkle is a bad look. KEEP WORKING, my preties and get a companion animal....it doesn't have to be the opposite sex!
We're so lucky to have Gonepausal in The Empress Book Shop! I've had no choice admitting to peri/menopause. It hit me like a ton of bricks--starting first with night sweats, then with seizures, which have now broken my mug in over 21 places--all because of shifting hormones!?! WTAF? My mother never mentioned a word about that bit??? I wouldn't wish ANY of this on anyone and think we need to talk about ALL the things that work... as well as those that do NOT... YES, I'm looking at YOU, Kardashian Vag Gummies! Lol. Agree with all of the above--get designated PURSE tweezers--you will always see the offending hair when you are OUT and ABOUT and it will be a white pube growing from the middle of your forehead and you will need to address toute de suite! Lol.
Thanks for this. The book is actually available for free on audible right now, but only until 10/25. It’s the kind of book I’d rather read than listen to, but I can get started today!
Ooh, thank you for the tip! Will add it to this past weekend's post--now that our power is back on and I'm finally catching up! Agree with you that this book is more one I'd like to read!
Looking forward to adding this book to my reading list!

I'm so old school; I still love feeling paper in my hands and turning actual pages 😂
