LORDY this is exciting! I think I've actually been interrupting my own pathways of BS lately, more than anyone else's. But can't wait to read your take-down of that sitch!

I'm trying to interrupt my BS in other areas of my life as well! Post-COVID seems to have messed with my hormones and my sleep (again) so the solutions that worked BEFORE now don't. Time to un-drink that kool-aid πŸ˜‚ (That I had things all figured out. Ha!) And where else in life... can I do that?

For the take down, just writing wise, I think the key is keeping it squarely in the realm of comedy and remembering *why* I'm doing it; to help my gf recover her losses. She wants to fund women refugees. Lauren Groff turned me on to this new style of working... dividing up my office up into more specific zones... This area is The Empress Zone where I only think about the one midlife thing that's working/not working for me this week. And over here, by the sofa, under "The Thin Man" original movie poster is where I play Nora Charles, well-dressed, screwball detective, and think only about bad guys with wedding cakes... lol. So far, so good!

Zones are a cool idea! Come to think of it, I'm actually doing some of that as well. when I stand up at my desk I'm always working on Power Voice materials for my clients, and when I sit down I'm usually deep in process on Womancake stuff. The couch is where I work on more personal essays, and I make weird poems on the fridge (with my FRIDGE POETRY MAGNETS which make people roll their eyes but I don't give a shit). I hope your friend gets all her $ back and more.
