Funny coincidence: my next Monday essay is about a book that speaks directly to the female shadow, one that blew my mind and made me rethink some things about female anti-heroes. Looking forward to your feedback :)
You know, it's interesting... Yelena is the anti-hero of my next book THIS IS GOING TO BE HARD FOR YOU. And you could easily hate her because of her Park Avenue privilege and because she definitely has some dark parts in her DNA, but you end up rooting for her because she has leveraged all of those dark, shadowy elements to survive in a uniquely male world that would throw her away in a heartbeat now that she's fifty.
For the "Thriving" post... it's so challenging finding an image that encapsulates all the amazing things you brought up, but also one that doesn't immediately give off thriving midlife "timeshare" lady energy, lol... Who KNEW there were so many out there? I think I may have something, but oy, such a hunt!
My problem is... lol... it's usually for worse. But then, the cost of not blurting can be too high... like Iowa last night, hello??? Where is the blurting there? It should be resounding from all corners of the globe. No more nukes for the Cheeto???

I am rarely the shadow . I blurt most things out all at once. It's just me for better or for worse.
